I'm in a UCB comedy video!!! --> "American Apparel: Everyday Sexy"

Hey friends,

I'm pretty excited about this one. I got to play the part of Dov Charney, the founder of American Apparel, in a video for UCBComedy.com. It was written and directed by my friend Todd Bieber. I also edited it. Check it out:

Thoughts?

I like it - made me laugh.

And it is a poke at the way that everything is advertised by being made (artificially) sexy...

What does your tattoo say?

Heh, great one, Nate! Very funny, kinda sick (but I think it was intentional to reinforce the irony in the video... right? Geez, at least I hope so...), and revoltingly true when we talk about marketing nowadays, isn't it?

I agree with Katherine, everything nowadays is advertised by trying to make ads look sexy. Most of the times they end up looking just tacky, tasteless and without any creativity, though.

Good to see someone poke fun at modern media. I work in marketing and sex sells but this just takes it to a whole new level that almost reminds me of borat.
